My Awakened Soul Is The Heart Of What I Do
It stems from experiences with emotional and physical abuse, sexual harassment, a unhealthy relationship and my relationship with my awakened soul.
I learned about the soul in 1998 when I happened to catch an episode of Oprah interviewing Gary Zukav, author of the book The Seat of the Soul. The conversation stopped me in my tracks. I recognized I was hearing whispers from my inner thoughts nudging me to change my job and explore new opportunities. That year, I took a special duty assignment to be a Professional Military Instructor, coach and developing future leaders. This was the first time I felt passionate and in love with my work, so much that I felt like I was going to “play” each day. After I retired from the Air Force I took the first job that came along, moved up quickly and was making a healthy salary when once again to hear that nudging that I needed to do something different.
Then it hit me, my soul is my purpose and passion. I decided to stop fighting my soul, running after a job title, or salary and go back to what I love.
I began working with Alaska Native and American Indian peoples in a new leadership program in Alaska. It was here when I recognized the real work I was contributing to the world. So many people everywhere are hurt, suffer from abuse, and have unpleasant experiences that they must overcome. Through training, coaching, and mentoring this group I found that the soul really wants to be seen and heard. Women especially carry a heavy burden and try to pretend all is well. I created curriculum and coached, not only to develop their leadership capacity, but also to empower their soul capacity. I was inspired by their growth, confidence, success, and love. These experiences lead me to explore more empowering coaching techniques such as energy and soul coaching. I was moved to tears when I began working with Robin Rice and learned the importance of working with a client’s soul. I am passionate about being a soul advocate and dedicated to soul awakening and growth.
I am excited to create an opportunity to empower women to awaken to their soul’s purpose and passion as they expand their leadership capacity.
Women can overcome their past experiences and have it all; an awakened soul, passion, purpose and success!
